Recommendations for weight gain for women expecting twins

Weight gain in early pregnancy for many women carrying twins, is problematic because they are much harder to suffer from nausea and vomiting than women who are waiting to one child. Dietary recommendations in the light of this problem, presented in Chapter 9, may help women with a poor appetite because of nausea and vomiting. If you have a poor appetite for other reasons, you can set a specific time for eating and eat "on the clock, without waiting for your meal. How much weight should gain a woman expecting twins, depends on how much weight she was before pregnancy. Women who at the time of conception had good fat reserves should be filled to approximately 11-16 kg, that is to gain 350-450 grams per week. Women who have before pregnancy had a normal weight should increase your weight by 16-20 kg, or gaining weight 450 - 550 g per week. (In Fig. 7.1 in Chapter 7 is a graph of weight gain during pregnancy for women expecting twins.) If your weight before pregnancy was not enough, recommended weight gain 18-22,5 kg, or weight gain per week for 550-700 g. Such norms established based on the fact that pregnant women, expectant twins, maturity is shorter. If the pregnancy lasts for more than 37 weeks, the woman continues to gain weight until birth.
