Since breast milk contains a small amount of vitamin D, children, feeding on breast milk and few are in the sun, to give 5 mg (200 Intl. Units.) Vitamin D a day. Children under sunlight for half an hour a week when they were wearing only shorts, or two hours a week, when open only the head, work out in your body adequate amounts of vitamin D. Need to ensure that the child is not too much has been exposed to sunlight. In summer it is best to keep the children in the shade, walking with them in the morning and evening. Under direct sunlight, they should be not more than 10 minutes.
