Strict vegetarian and women who do not receive vitamin D from food and a little under the influence of sunlight should consume vitamin D supplementation at a dose of 10 mg (400 Intl. Units.) Daily. Women with low intakes of vitamin D should ensure that their diet was enough food that contains calcium. Strict vegetarian should also be assured that consuming adequate amounts of vitamin Bp. Babies need vitamin D supplements in doses of 5 mg (200 Intl. Units.) A day if they are exposed to sunlight less than 30 minutes per week, while the child is in shorts, or less than 2 hours per week, while open only the head. From the age of 6 months to children should be given 0.25 mg of fluoride as an additive.
