Amazon

Even today you can hear the most plausible story about what someone saw on the bank of the Amazon pre-historic animal which has miraculously survived in these wild places. Or the story of Atlantis, which remains after the great catastrophe escaped and settled on the banks of the river in inaccessible areas. This is because the area at a great distance along the Amazon are uninhabitable and uninhabited by man. Here's tropical forests - the jungle, which block the way for men to penetrate deeper. Therefore, the Amazon, Orinoco, Parana, Paraguay are the only ground for the penetration of roads on the mainland. The Amazon basin has an area of ??6,120,000 square kilometers. It stretches from east to west and takes its course nearly 500 tributaries. Chief among them are the River Maranon, Ucayali, Rio Negro, Shiigu and some others. Tropical forests - the jungle - surrounded by the Amazon. They are replete with rare plants and animals that live only in those places. Perhaps nowhere in the world to find just as many species of beetles and butterflies, many of their lives in the Amazon basin. It is found as a giant anaconda snake, which reaches a length of nine meters. And in the waters of the Amazon lie in wait for prey, electric eels, ravenous piranha fish. Their flock for a few seconds can tear a person or animal. The rivers of the Amazon basin are almost entirely rain food. But the relatively uniform flow throughout the year have only a typical equatorial upper tributaries of the Amazon. They originate outside of the Andes and flow through the constantly wet western Amazon.
