The origin of meteorites

Those researchers who based primarily on petrographic and geological data, drew attention to the similarity of the earth's magma and meteorites. The origin of the latter are linked with the planets, similar in structure to the Earth. On the one hand, they assumed that the meteorites formed by volcanic eruptions such planets on the other hand, viewed them as products of decay of these world bodies. Among astronomers, the greatest number of supporters has the look, which connects the meteorites with falling stars and comets. The existence of well-known relationship between these phenomena have long been anticipated by many scientists, but only Schiaparelli his extremely witty studies gave the key to understanding it, his theory was in many ways transformed Weiss, and, as such is now the best explanation of meteorites.
