In continuation of this band are powerful basalts, which form in the Czech Republic under the EAV Riesengebirge mountains and continued to Silesia. Their spurs, acting in posletretichnoe time, did not reach great heights. Incomparably greater importance are those volcanoes that make up the western extension of the aforementioned bands and arranged on the other side of the Rhine in the Eifel. In most cases, we find here only the first manifestation of volcanic activity, a weak attempt vulkanoobrazovaniya, if I may say so, and yet these formations are of great interest: small size of the simplest representatives of volcanoes can discern all the properties of volcanic events, much easier than in cases , where huge masses of volcanic material, speed, power and complexity of the phenomena make it difficult to monitor.
